Money. How important is this? It seems like it means a lot. Parents spend money on children. Sometimes, it’s unconditional love. A debt which can never be paid back. Sometimes they do it to associate with the success of children. Even in many instances, it’s like an investment that is supposed to bring some return.

In India, the situation is very different. “Daddy, I want to be an artist.” “Mom I want to be an artist.” Either of the two might evoke rings of fire.

Now, you have chosen to be one. Initially it’s ok. If you stay without money, people see you in a different way. They may welcome you initially. But, gradually everybody starts to think of you as a burden or liability.

No matter how much talent you have in the world, people evaluate you and other things in terms of money.

They might behave in a strange way. If you don’t have a purpose strong enough to sustain your passion, things happen..

Sometimes they don’t say anything..but the subtle actions show..

But there will be some who stand beside you no matter what. And they will be with you even if you have nothing.

Keep these people close to your heart.

One day the artist will be able to give others a chance to evaluate their artworks or expressions in terms of MONEY.

Then, if you get a chance to help these people, in any way, DO SO.

Mostly, they don’t ask.

Though you can’t thank them enough, inside, they will be happy.

Life is short..Art is long..
